I agree with your meaning of the need to introduce something between the iPhone/iPod and the Macs – and the iPad does very well –  but this keynote didn’t satisfy me so far. I have expected more than ’80 minutes of iPad demonstration’ in detail. I think the professional customers are waiting for an small upgrade of the MacBook Pro series, especially the ‘big ones’. All the big players on the market are bringing out professional laptops with the modern Intel i5/i7 series processors and high grade NVIDIA or ATI GPUs.

This is just my personal opinion – the opinion of an pleased customer of you. I am using Macs, iPhone, Apple Software and I have the need for an up-to-date system.
